Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) Pandemic

The Clean Green Pakistan programme aims to enhance the role of volunteers; registered as Clean Green Champions; in the COVID-19 prevention in Pakistan . The interested volunteers would be equipped with the required knowledge, skills, and resources to meaningfully contribute to COVID-19 prevention at the family, community, and city levels. The volunteer contribution of the Champions will be rewarded as per the set mechanics by the Ministry of Climate Change, Government of Pakistan.

Awareness

The Clean Green Pakistan program aims at engaging champions in the prevention of COVID-19 by creating awareness about Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic, its symptoms, and precautionary measures. This also expands the role of Champions in contributing efforts linked with the key components of the Clean Green Pakistan for the prevention of COVID-19. All the Clean Green Champions are encouraged to access guidelines and resources under each component to play an effective role to stop the spread of Coronavirus disease (COVID-19) pandemic in Pakistan.

Promote Behavioral Change

The Clean Green Champions can play a major role in promoting behavioral change at the family, community, and society level to control the spread of COVID-19 in Pakistan. The role can be involved in promoting knowledge, skills, and resources for promoting social distancing, reduce stigma, care for children, and supporting others affected by the COVID-19 disease.
